Bill Pollock

Elder & Treasurer

Bill and Carolyn have been attending Celebrate for over 25 years.  They joined the church when it was still located in downtown Mount Morris.  Both of them are children of missionaries.  Carolyn’s father was a doctor who headed a hospital in Egypt and Bill’s father was a missionary builder in Sudan and Ethiopia.  They met while attending a mission boarding school in Egypt.  They have three daughters and four grandchildren.  They very much appreciate the fellowship and vibrant ministry of Celebrate Family Church.  Part of the original attraction was the emphasis that Celebrate has on missions.  They have led many short-term missions teams to Africa for projects in Mozambique and Kenya.   Both of them have been active in a variety of ministries at the church over the years including leading small groups, teaching children and adult classes, and various aspects of construction and maintenance.  They feel blessed to be a part of such a welcoming and loving church family.

Dave Betts

Elder

Dave was raised Catholic, and then accepted Jesus in January 1991 at a weekend business conference. Dave and Debbie started attending Celebrate in Fall 2013 and Dave became an Elder in 2023. Celebrate is a special place that gives and supports missions, as well as emphasizes children and youth. Dave’s passion is to serve others whether it be in the Children’s Ministry or delivering Thanksgiving-to-Go meals. Debbie and Dave have been married 30 yrs this May and they have 4 children, 1 grandchildren, and 2 more due in July. Hobbies include traveling, and sharing our goats, mini horse and donkey with others.

Heath Clester

Elder

Heath and Nicole began attending Celebrate! Family Church in 2006 when they moved to the area, and became active church members shortly after.  They are raising four amazing children and are excited to see how God uses them for His kingdom.

Heath serves as a teacher on the Children’s Ministry team at Celebrate and enjoyed volunteering as a Den Leader while their boys were in Cub Scouts.  He became an elder in the church in March, 2024. Nicole is a pre-school teacher at Mt. Morris CSD and loves sharing her day and influencing the lives of such young students.  She enjoys gardening and baking. Heath enjoys the outdoors and building projects at their home and property.  They also enjoy making family memories on vacations at the beach. Heath and Nicole were both raised in Christian homes with loving and supporting parents and feel blessed to provide the same for their family.

Pam Hull

Secretary to the Elders

Pam and Dan Hull live and farm in Leicester with their four kids: Forest (12), Walter (10), Jane (9) and Oliver (7). They started attending Celebrate in 2009 and Pam has been the corporate secretary since 2014. She also serves as an usher, helps out with grounds-keeping, and recently joined the worship team here at Celebrate.

What makes Celebrate Family Church special to Pam is the presence of the Holy Spirit. She appreciates the atmosphere purposely created to allow the Spirit to move. One of the first things that drew her to the church was the time taken during the service to lay hands on and pray for each other. Pam also enjoys the worship, and as a parent, she is so grateful for the wonderful kid’s ministry.

Pam became a Christian when she was 6 and have attended various churches throughout her life. She grew up in a strong Christian home and attended (and worked at) a Christian camp in the Adirondacks which greatly impacted her faith. Pam had some wonderful mentors and friends that drew her closer to the Lord. Two verses that mean a lot to her are Psalm 73:26 and Luke 12:48.  In her spare time, she enjoys being outside- hiking, biking, gardening and playing with her family. She also enjoys reading and baking any chance she gets.

Dr. Eric Scott

Apostolic Elder

Eric Scott began pastoring Celebrate! Family Church in 1992 up until his retirement in December of 2023. He is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute, and holds a Master’s degree from Northwest Graduate School, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Destiny College. Eric’s church values him as a man of vision and integrity.

Eric is currently retired from the Senior Pastor role at Celebrate! Family Church and is enjoying his life in the mountains of North Carolina alongside his wife, Deby. Even with this new phase of life, they are still serving Celebrate! through mission trips, council, and teaching.

Eric and Deby have seven children as well as three grandchildren and they enjoy everything outdoors.
