in Christ is Fun!
A strong foundation in Christ is a recipe for life-long success. We believe that investing in the next generation and guiding them into a strong relationship with Jesus is crucial. This starts with our Thursday Youth Group that goes from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and is for ages 10-18. No sign-up is necessary, just show up and expect a great time! Youth Group provides a safe environment where teens will learn about God with their peers and have a blast doing it. Here’s what you can expect…
Delicious Food
We know teens eat a lot and so we have you covered! Our dedicated team of volunteers provides delicious complimentary food for every Youth Group meeting. If your child has any food allergies, please let us know!
Fun Bible-Based Learning
We believe the Bible is the Word of God and that we can trust what it says. What’s more, we believe that studying the Word can be a whole lot of fun! Expect fun activities such as Bible sword drills and plenty of other exciting activities and games that will promote spiritual growth.
A Powerful &
Encouraging Message
You can expect Bible-Based messages that are relevant and applicable to your teen. Each message is carefully and prayerfully crafted with the intent to help your teen grow in knowledge of God. It is not uncommon for teens to ask questions and we don’t shy away from having real down-to-earth conversations about life and the real challenges that teens are facing. Teens are even encouraged to write down their questions and drop them in our suggestion box so that we ensure no question goes unanswered.

God didn’t make us to go through this life alone. He intended us to have friends that would stand strong by our side, lifting and encouraging each other up. With Youth Group, your teen will get just that! There are plenty of friends to be made, laughs to be had, and memories that will last a lifetime!
Dedicated Leaders
Our team of teachers are dedicated to the spiritual growth of your child. They spend hours planning lessons, activities and games, and investing into the teens. This job is no small task, but it is treated as a privilege and a blessing. Life is full of both triumphs and difficulties, and our teachers are here to provide support through it all. No question is too challenging or too insignificant, and every teen is treated with the respect, care, and love that God intended.
Josh Kelley
(Youth Leader)
Josh has been involved in youth ministry for over 25 years, serving either on staff or volunteering. He studied pastoral ministry at Warner Southern College in FL, has taken classes at Elim, and graduated from Nation to Nation. He currently works with Hillside teaching behavioral skills to youth, and also volunteers his time as the Cub Master for his local Cub Scout group.
Josh has always had a passion for youth and seeing young people grown in their walk with Christ. Josh and his wife Kelly have been married for 24 years and have six amazing children. Josh has been attending Celebrate for 19 years, and Kelly has been attending since she was a teenager (30 years). They have enjoyed raising their children at Celebrate Family Church and being able to serve the body of Christ together as a family.
Andrew & Emma Betts
(Youth Leaders)
Andrew Betts has attended and volunteered at Celebrate! Family Church since his family started attending when he was 10. Celebrate! was a big part of his growing up and has continued to be a big part of his adult life. Andrew has a heart for youth and wants to help the next generation continue to grow in Christ.
Emma Betts started attending Celebrate! Family Church in January of 2025 to attended and volunteer in a church with Andrew. (They were married in February of 2026.) Emma was the youth leader at her hometown church for three years before moving to Celebrate! She also has a heart for youth and wants to see how the Lord moves in this next generation of believers. Jesus has been a safe space for Emma, and she loves to attend and host events that bring Christ back to the main focus.
Their goal is to help the next generation find peace and strength through their relationships with Christ, and to create a safe space for the youth to discover the true awe of Christ and his love!
