Does God answer prayer? Yes, he does! The accounts below are true. They are people that we know, and they were the target of our specific, earnest prayers. And God sent answers! What doctors cannot explain, we credit to the healing, restoring power of God. He answers prayer! Have you put your trust in him?
In 2008, A stroke had Peggy in the hospital on her death bed. Her kidneys shut down. Her brain functions were flat-lining. As family gathered to say their final goodbyes, God's people prayed. Suddenly Peggy woke up and starting asking where she was. She was released from the hospital, and she has continued to recover to this day.
Brian was diagnosed in 2008 with stage-4 lymphoma. This pastor and young father of 7 children was told that his chances of surviving the cancer were not good. But Christians united in earnest prayer. The cancerous tumor in his abdoman, the size of a football, has completely disappeared - no sign of cancer at all! The doctors told him "you will live a happy, healthy and full life" and sent him home.
For 3 years, Nick was bound to a wheelchair. Limes disease, the doctors said, but there was no treatment or cure for his condition. Nick and his young wife prayed, along with the church. One day in 2009, Nick believed God was instructing him to stand up from his chair. Strength entered his legs and he took one step, then another. Today he enjoys life apart from his chair! He believes his healing was a miracle.
Bruce was diagnosed in 2008 with Mesothelioma and given 6 months to live. He trusted God's Word, and had the elders of his church come to the hospital and pray. The doctors were not hopeful, telling him "there is no cure...we will make you as comfortable as possible." But God had a better plan, and a recent MRI showed NO TRACE of cancer whatsoever! The doctors are dumbfounded and call it a "miracle."
